Author and Illustrator

I'm Dulcie Robertson, an illustrator and picture book author living in Scotland. I create joyful, richly detailed work for all ages in a wide range of traditional and digital media.

I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in 2024 with a First Class Honours degree in Illustration. I spent much of my time there poring over old newspaper cartoons, searching for the perfect rhyme, and making puppets from unlikely materials. 

When I'm not doing illustration, I work as a community worker for Dundee charity, Uppertunity, where I facilitate cooking and crafting workshops for adults with additional support needs. Currently I am collaborating with a wonderful group of attendees to make an accessible recipe book to support with cooking at home.
